I have obtained a Bachelor Degree in Biology at the University of Parma, Italy. My Bachelor thesis project involved the evaluation of the main factors affecting the rehabilitation of the animals admitted in a Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre. I have then been enrolled in a MSc course in Global Change Ecology at the University of Trieste; during this course I obtained a scholarship to develop my Master thesis project at Imperial College London. This project has regarded the development of a global biogeographical model of saline lakes, to further assess how climate change could impact these inland water bodies.
Current Research
I am actually focused in the development of industry-led tools to improve water and flood defence infrastructure through natural capital.
