I have a MSc in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge, specialising in Geological Sciences. In 2013 I was awarded the Wiltshire Prize for distinction in Geology and Mineralogy.
In the summer of 2014 I volunteered for four weeks at the Sedgwick Museum, electronically cataloguing the museum's meteorite collection. My masters project, 'Facies and mass extinction controls on the ichnology of the Permian-Triassic succession of the Sydney Basin, Australia', investigated the ichnological signatures of the two pulses of Permo-Triassic extinction. I exhibited this work as a poster at the 2014 British Sedimentological Research Group AGM.
Current Research
I am interested in past climate. My DPhil will focus on using extraterrestrial helium concentrations to reconstruct sedimentation rates over Oceanic Anoxic Events, periods of rapid climate perturbation in the Mesozoic.
