Academic Profile

Previous study and work experience: I completed my undergraduate degree in Statistics at University of Delhi (2010-13) and pursued my interest in research by undertaking a range of independent projects at the Indian Institute of Technology-Delhi, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences and Public Health Foundation of India. I then completed my graduate degree program in Biostatistics at the Harvard T.H Chan School of Public Health (HSPH) (2015-17). Since 2017 I've been working as a research assistant at the Department of Infectious Disease Epidemiology at Imperial College London. First developing a hierarchical Bayesian model-based method for joint small area estimation of HIV prevalence and anti-retroviral therapy coverage at sub-national levels. Followed by using methods such as hierarchical modelling analysing longitudinal cohort data and creating a clinical trial simulator for disease modifying therapies of Alzheimer’s disease.

Awards: I am funded by the Clarendon Fund and St. Edmund Hall Scholarship.
