My background is in tropical ecology, with a focus on tropical agroecosystems. Previously, I completed a BA in Biological Sciences at the University of Oxford and an MRes in Tropical Forest Ecology at Imperial College London, where my dissertation examined the effects of land-use change on beetle occupancy in Sabah, Malaysian Borneo. Since then, I've also worked as a research assistant with the University of Cambridge's Insect Ecology Group on a project investigating how management practices impact biodiversity in smallholder oil palm plantations in Indonesia and Malaysia.
