Shipeng Zhang

Academic Profile

I studied Atmospheric Science at Nanjing University for my undergraduate and master degree. In my master project I quantified the cloud lifetime effect of aerosols into different dynamic regimes and estimated the variability of aerosol-cloud-interactions within dynamic regimes in 10 Aerocom participating GCMs.

Current Research

In my DPhil project I will investigate the aerosol effects on precipitation from an energetic perspective, helping to improve simulation of precipitation in climate models.
